What is included in the registration price?
The Symposium registration fee includes participation in the pre-conference reception (9/14), as well as lunch, morning and afternoon snack breaks during each of the two full conference days (9/15 & 9/16). Education and knowledge sharing will be provided by keynotes, panel speakers, 40 presentations, and more than 30 posters. There is an additional charge for pre-conference events (policy tour or urban soils workshop)

Cancellation Policy
If you must cancel your registration, please notify the Urban Food Systems Symposium Organizing Committee (via e-mail at UFSS@ksu.edu) by August 16, 2026, to receive a refund (a 10% administrative fee will be deducted from your refund). Cancellations after August 16, 2026 will not be eligible for refunds.
Kansas State University may cancel or postpone any course or activity because of unforeseen circumstances. If this event is cancelled, registration fees will be refunded, but we cannot be held responsible for other costs, charges, or expenses, including cancellation/change charges assessed by airlines or travel agencies. Registration fees will not be canceled, and refunds will not be issued if the program is held, but the registrant is unable to attend due to travel delays or cancellations caused by inclement weather or other extraordinary circumstances beyond the control of Kansas State University.
