About UFSS 2026

The Urban Food Systems Symposium brings together a national and international audience of academic, non-profit, private-sector, government and research-oriented professionals to share and gain knowledge on this years’ theme of ‘Cultivating Communities, Cities, and Food Systems.’ The event fosters collaboration and emphasizes the vital role of urban food systems in shaping sustainable solutions for our cities and communities.


Over the past decade, participation at UFSS has grown from 50 to 200+ attendees - we are so excited to welcome everyone back to Kansas City!
